Favourite fall photos to conclude the season

It’s all going to be snow and shortbread from here on in, so I thought I’d share a glimpse of our fall around the homestead in a few favourite photos.

Besides, most of you are deep in kitchen prep for Thanksgiving. Rather than cram in one more recipe or entertaining tip, these images will be here if you need a short break from the stove.

You got this, right? The turkey tutorial. The tip for leftovers. The stuffing. The sprouts. The best pumpkin pie ever. Good. Now get in there and cook!

  1. These are BEAUTIFUL, Aimee, and such a welcome break from all of the focus on Christmas that is already bombarding me. (Nothing against Christmas. I really do love it!!) I am all for enjoying fall for as long as possible. 🙂

  2. Funny you mentioned it…I sat down from the stove to take a break and your post popped up in bloglovin! 🙂 Lovely photos, as always. Back to the green beans, now that I’ve finished my snack and rested my feet 🙂

    1. I love that, Diana! I anticipated your break. 😉 Thanks for taking the time to comment during your busy day.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

  3. I love all of these photos! Fall isn’t as obvious here in California but it does last for a while longer. Thanks for sharing some fun moments. I think I would want to walk to and from school MANY times per day if the walk looked like that!

    1. Thanks, Sherrie! It was a rare warm night, so perfect for a fire. WE lingered until after dark, knowing it was probably the last one before the fire pit gets buried in snow.

      1. I heard that you’re having quite a bit of snow today – it’s 14 degrees and all rain here in Nova Scotia. I guess you’ll see it again in the spring!
