Lasting Impressions
Allow me to share a few of the images I still have stuck in my head from my visit home to British Columbia…
Left to right from the top:
- My parents, at their 35th wedding anniversary party
- Khaki Campbell ducks
- Me at my usual post: the kitchen
- Sweet William flowers showcased by my Dad’s artwork
- Ross Lake and Rocher de Boule Mountain
- Wild Saskatoon berries
- Unidentified wild mushroom
- My mother’s unrivaled duck dinner
- Baby beets
- Fresh picked Bolete mushroom
- Niece, Lyra, with wild strawberries
- Hudson Bay Mountain at dusk
- Mama duck with day-old babies
- Noah doing artwork along the banks of the Kispiox River
- Catching up over some dessert
- Wild strawberry dessert with Fireweed flowers in the background
I love living in British Columbia, but every province has their special events, scenery and cuisine.
