Weekend links

Can we talk about where January went? I think the combination of endless cold weather and my rigorous work schedule for the month caused the weeks to fly by scarcely noticed..

I expect February will be similar. Now if we could all stay healthy and free of colds, that would be lovely, thank you. Here’s selection of what I read this week for your Sunday link love:

Eat Seasonal Guide for February :: The Vintage Mixer – I’m joining Becky and a small group of bloggers in a commitment to seasonal eating.

Date, Tahini, and Cardamom Smoothie :: Serious Eats – I made this smoothie three times last week. It’s exceptional.

Why We Need To Take More Risks (Thanks, Walter Mitty) :: Tsh Oxenreider, via Storyline – Loved this movie, and Tsh’s article, too.

Orange Vanilla Bean Rice Pudding :: Some the Wiser – Allison is cooking comfort food and tells us why. Much love to you, my friend.

What it means to boil water :: Joy the Baker – I stalked Joy’s blog all week long, moved and inspired by her Uganda trip. We even sponsored a little boy through Compassion!

Have a wonderful weekend, all
