We’re on the brink of a whole new year of canning and what better way to begin then with a stash of reusable canning lids from Tattler. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered, well, one lucky winner anyway.

Today’s weekend giveaway is from Simple Bites sponsor, Tattler Reusable Canning Lids and features their festive new lids in a limited edition color – red! (Update: Red no longer available since this post was published)

Made in the USA, Tattler lids are an environmentally friendly product for home food preservation that can be used with pressure canning or the hot water bath method. I’ve been using their lids for over a year now with no complaints and I recommend them to my friends and family.

Also, It’s nice to know that the food I am preserving is BPA-free. As a bonus they are also dishwasher safe, and are guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Giveaway!

  41. One of my canning goals for the coming year is to can more chili’s, soups, and stews and meats. We lose power quite often around here and these would be great to open and eat. Also, they are a great time-saver on busy days, and help with saving money. Thank you for the opportunity to try these great canning lids.

  48. Big plans for canning next year. This summer we moved–so there wasn’t time to can, and there was no use in storing up many cans that would need to be packed and shipped. But next summer…

  49. I would like to do more small batch canning next year. I tend to do only BULK canning (25 pounds of tomatoes, a bushel and a half of pears, etc).
